The Scots Dragon has retired
from the Renaissance Faire circuit. We want to thank all who have visited and shopped with us over the years. We
enjoyed meeting you and working with you over the years. We will miss you.
To all those faire promoters, sponsors and fellow artisans we have worked with
over the years, we have enjoyed working with you and we will miss you as well.
We will retain The Scots Dragon name and can be reached through our Scots Dragon
contact information. We have sold our remaining inventory and fixtures to Lisa
Tompkins of EaGenie Costumes and Susan Hohbein of Celtic Creations who are
combining into a new business with a new name. We feel they will be worthy
successors. If all goes well, they will be in our building at the Des Moines
Renaissance Faire. Look for them at other faires as well.
If you have our clothing and it needs repair or alteration, please feel free to
contact us by phone or e-mail and we will take care of you, but we are sorry, we
cannot take any orders for new clothing.
If you have lost your kilting directions and need another copy, we will send you
another. If you have tartan questions, we will try to answer them
We will especially miss being at the Des Moines Renaissance Faire. Special
thanks to Rick Flatt, owner of Sleepy Hollow Sports Park, for his vision in
creating the hard site for the Des Moines Renaissance Faire and Greg Schmidt,
owner of Festivals International for his partnering with Rick to help bring the
faire to life.
